Canada
The Canadian baseline will address meaningful consent, appropriate purposes, safeguards, access, correction, breach response and accountability under applicable federal and provincial privacy laws. Quebec and other provinces may require additional language, governance or transfer disclosures.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Before targeted launch, UpCliq must publish controller identity, lawful bases, retention, international-transfer safeguards, regulator rights and any required representative or data-protection contact. Consent must be specific and freely given, and users must receive safeguards around significant automated decisions.
United States
Rights vary by state. The operating program must assess thresholds and provide applicable access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, appeal and sensitive-data controls. California-facing notices and “Do Not Sell or Share” controls will be added if the relevant practices or legal thresholds apply.
Other markets
UpCliq will maintain a country launch register covering privacy, age and identity requirements, online-safety duties, accessibility, consumer terms, data localization, marketing communications, taxation and payment restrictions. Features may remain unavailable until the regional review is complete.
