Our commitment
UpCliq is designing accessibility into navigation, profiles, events, communication, safety and future media features. We consider people who use keyboards, screen readers, voice controls, magnification, captions, reduced motion and other assistive technologies.
Current accessibility foundation
- Keyboard-visible focus indicators
- A skip link to bypass repeated navigation
- Semantic headings, navigation landmarks and labelled controls
- Responsive layouts that support mobile use and text enlargement
- Reduced-motion support for people who request it
- Linked legal and privacy text during registration
- Text alternatives alongside QR-code sharing
Work still in progress
- Complete keyboard testing for every workflow and modal
- Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver, TalkBack and NVDA
- Colour-contrast verification across every state
- Error identification, status announcements and focus management
- Accessible captions and transcripts before video messaging launches
- Testing at 200% and 400% zoom and on small screens
- Independent testing with people with disabilities
Compatibility
We intend to support current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies. Very old browsers or unsupported combinations may not provide the intended experience.
Feedback and alternative access
If you cannot access a feature or need information in another format, contact support@upcliq.net with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Include the page, feature, device and assistive technology if you are comfortable doing so. Do not include passwords or sensitive identity documents. We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within five business days.
